Richard was recommended to me by a friend. Last year, I had a telephone appointment with him about a complicated renovation project I was interested in. It became clear quickly that it wasn't something he could work with. Even though he knew he wouldn't get work out of it, he spent a long time on the phone giving me very helpful advice. The renovation project never happened happened and when, a few months later I found a house I wanted to buy, I knew I wanted Richard to be my mortgage advisor.
