After 10 years of working with the public in retail on "THE SERVICES" (yes the same one Peter Kay filmed one of his early shows at), Steve fell into the mortgage world in 2000 after applying for an undisclosed job in the back of the Manchester Evening News.
It was an "employ everyone and the best will stay", commission only role!

Steve decided he could do a better job on his own, so in 2005 set up CARMA UK LTD, named after his wife "CAR"oline "MA"yor.

Upon graduating with a First Class Honours degree in Law from Lancaster University she took the logical career step and helped to manage bookshops in various locations around the North West.
When she was ready to buy her first home Steve, the company director, was recommended to her, and they got on so well he offered her a job!
Emily is especially keen to assist first time buyers; having recently gone through the process herself, she understands how nerve-wracking it is and will be there to guide you every step of the way.

Martin has been involved in Financial Services in many various roles for over 30 years.
A lot of this time was spent with Halifax where he joined as a 16 year old straight from school on a Youth Training Scheme (Apprenticeship for you youngsters).
Upon leaving Halifax in 2015 Martin chose to come back to Mortgages / working at Saving-You as he feels great job satisfaction helping people buy their dream home / save some money / re-finance debts / complete those improvements/ protect their loved ones.

90% of the day she is happily sleeping, but if she slips out of her leopard print blanket, she will let you know, with a high pitch chirp!
Ignore her and its get louder and louder, until you have no option, but to recover her.
They will hunt down any office treats or even lunches if left too close to the edge of the table.
Marley grabs it and Edie eats it!
Edie loves travel, Europe being her favourite, the hotter the better.
